Follow these easy steps to get your Hotpoint RSR50V Refrigerator up and running in no time.

1. Choosing a Location

Place the Larder Fridge in a dry and regularly ventilated room. Ensure the power socket is readily accessible and adjacent to the fridge. Avoid placing the fridge near heat-emitting devices or in direct sunlight to prevent it from working harder and incurring higher running costs.

2. Placing the Larder Fridge

Place the Larder Fridge on a solid base. Use the adjustable feet at the front to level the fridge. Attach the two spacers provided on the upper edge of the condenser to prevent the fridge from being too close to the wall. Ensure at least 200cm² of air circulation space behind the fridge and units above should be at least 5cm away.

3. Final Check

Before using your appliance, ensure it is level, thoroughly dry inside, and that there is adequate air circulation. The appliance should be thoroughly cleaned, especially the interior, before first use.

4. Before Connecting to Power

Leave the appliance to stand for 2 hours to allow the cooling system to settle before connecting it to the electricity supply.

5. Starting the Appliance

Insert the plug into the wall socket and switch on the electricity supply. The refrigerator light will illuminate when the door is opened. Turn the control dial clockwise from STOP (0) to a higher setting to start the appliance. You will hear the compressor start up.

6. Running in the Compressor

The compressor requires a running-in period of up to 2 months, during which it may produce more noise than usual. This is normal as it works to maintain the internal temperature.
