Follow these easy steps to get your LG RC7064AZ/BZ/CZ Dryer up and running in no time.
Place your dryer on a solid, level floor to prevent undesirable noise and vibration. Use a spirit level to check if the dryer is balanced. If the machine rocks when pushing the top plate diagonally, adjust the feet until the dryer is stable and balanced.
Ensure the dryer is placed in an area free from flammable materials, condensation, and not liable to freezing. It should not be located near a gas hob, cooker, heater, or grill, as flames from burners could damage the dryer. If fitted beneath a work surface, allow 30cm~50cm space at either side and the back for air circulation.
After removing the packaging, check that the water container, condenser, control panel, and drum are in place. Open the door and ensure the lint filter is clean.
Turn the power on by pressing the 'Power' button. The indicator light above the button will illuminate, indicating the machine is ready to run.
Set the machine to dry for 5 minutes to warm up the drum. This will help release any odors from the interior of the dryer.
Sort clothes by fabric type and dryness level. Tie and fix any strings and belts on clothes before putting them into the drum. Push the laundry to the back to keep it away from the door seal.
Select the desired drying cycle by turning the program control knob. If 'Start/Pause' is pressed without selecting a cycle, the dryer will proceed with the standard program.
