Follow these easy steps to get your Philips 499P9 Monitor up and running in no time.

1. Unpack the Monitor

Carefully remove the monitor from its packaging, ensuring all components such as cables and the remote control unit are included.

2. Install the Base

Place the monitor face down on a soft surface to prevent scratching. Hold the neck with both hands and gently attach it to the VESA mount area until the latch locks the neck. Use a screwdriver to tighten the assembly screws, securing the neck to the monitor.

3. Connect Power Supply

Firmly connect the power cord to the AC power input on the back of the monitor.

4. Connect to PC

Turn off your computer and unplug its power cable. Connect the monitor signal cable to the video connector on your computer. For USB-C, connect the upstream cable to the 'USB Type C' port. For HDMI or DisplayPort, connect the upstream cable to the 'USB up' port.

5. Adjust Monitor Position

Tilt the monitor between -5° to +15°, swivel it between -20° to +20°, and adjust the height up to 130mm for a comfortable viewing angle.

6. Power On

Reconnect your computer's power cable and turn it on. Then, press the power button on the monitor to switch it on.

7. OSD Menu Setup
