Follow these easy steps to get your Philips 499P9 Monitor up and running in no time.

Unpack the Monitor

Carefully remove the monitor from its packaging, ensuring all components such as cables and the remote control unit are included.

Install the Base

Place the monitor face down on a soft surface to prevent scratching. Hold the neck with both hands and gently attach it to the VESA mount area until the latch locks the neck. Use a screwdriver to tighten the assembly screws, securing the neck to the monitor.

Connect Power Supply

Firmly connect the power cord to the AC power input on the back of the monitor.

Image appears distorted or text is fuzzy

The display resolution is not set to the display's native resolution. Adjust the PC’s display resolution to match the display’s recommended screen native resolution.

Green, red, blue, dark, and white dots appear on the screen

These dots are normal characteristics of the liquid crystal technology. Refer to the pixel policy for more details on acceptable defect levels.

Power on light is too strong and disturbing

The brightness of the power on light is set too high. Adjust the power on light using the power LED Setup in OSD main controls.
