Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi ZDC8202P Dryer up and running in no time.
Carefully remove the packaging, and ensure the appliance is not damaged. The dryer can be installed as freestanding or under a kitchen counter with adequate space. Ensure the floor is flat, stable, heat-resistant, and clean. Allow air circulation between the appliance and the floor. The rear surface should be against the wall. Use a spirit level to ensure it is fully level, adjusting the feet as necessary.
Connect the mains plug to the mains socket only at the end of the installation. Ensure there is access to the mains plug after installation. Any damaged supply cord should be replaced by the manufacturer or authorized service personnel.
Ensure good ventilation in the installation room to prevent backflow of gases from other fuel-burning appliances. Do not discharge exhaust air into a flue used for exhausting fumes from gas or other fuels.
Clean the tumble dryer drum with a moist cloth to remove any dust or residues from manufacturing.
Start a short programme with moist laundry (e.g., 30 minutes) to ensure the appliance is functioning correctly before regular use.
