Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Bosch Dryer.
Ensure Proper Installation
Install the dryer with sufficient space on all sides to allow air circulation. This prevents overheating and ensures efficient drying performance.
Regular Cleaning of Filters
Clean the fluff filters and the filter in the condensation container regularly. Although the condensation container filter is cleaned automatically, manual cleaning under running water is necessary to prevent stubborn deposits and dirt buildup.
Moisture Sensor Maintenance
Clean the moisture sensors regularly to prevent a fine layer of limescale from building up, which can affect the dryer's ability to detect moisture levels accurately.
Avoid Use in Frost Conditions
Do not operate the dryer if there is a risk of frost, as this can damage the appliance and hinder its performance.
Safe Operation Practices
Only load the drum with laundry and ensure the contents are suitable for drying. Avoid using the dryer if the laundry has been in contact with flammable substances like solvents, oil, wax, grease or paint, as this poses a risk of fire or explosion.
