Too much dust in Dust Bin / Dust Sensor

The dust bin is filled with too much dust, or the dust sensors are detecting excessive dust. Clean the dust bin and dust sensors thoroughly to ensure proper operation.

Dust Bin not present / fitted properly

The dust bin is either missing or not installed correctly. Replace the dust bin or re-install it, pressing firmly into place to ensure it is secure.

Agitator or Drive Wheel is obstructed / Side Brush is obstructed

There is an obstruction in the agitator, drive wheel, or side brush, preventing normal operation. Remove any debris or obstructions from the agitator, drive wheel, and side brush to restore functionality.

Dust Bin and Filter

The dust bin has a capacity of 0.25 liters and should be emptied regularly. The filter should be washed after every five dust bin emptyings and be completely dry before reinstallation.

The Hoover RVC0011 has dimensions of 330x330x97.5mm and weighs 3.5kg. It is designed for use on surfaces like wooden flooring, rubber, ceramic tile, linoleum, and short-length carpet.

Regular Maintenance

Turn off the power and remove the Dust Bin. Check the Filter and remove any visible dirt and dust. Ensure there are no blockages in the Dust Bin. Remove Agitator, clean it and refit. Check Drive Wheels for debris.

Cleaning the Surfaces

Use a damp cloth with a little soap to clean all surfaces. Do not allow water into any part of the product whilst cleaning. Dry with a soft cloth.

Filter Cleaning

Open the Dust Bin door, empty the dust and wash the filter under running water.

Agitator Cleaning

Use a coin to remove the 2 screws on the Soleplate. Remove the Agitator frame and clean it.

Side Brush Maintenance

The Side Brushes are easily worn from heavy use so you should check them regularly to monitor their condition. Hair and other debris may become trapped in the Side Brushes.
