Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Hoover Vacuum Cleaner.
Regular Inspection
Check the vacuum cleaner regularly for blockages in the hose, wands, or nozzle connectors. Remove larger items from carpet and surfaces before vacuuming to prevent obstructions.
Filter Bag Maintenance
Replace the paper filter disposable bag when full to maintain optimal suction. Use only genuine HOOVER Type R bags to ensure peak performance.
Secondary Filter Care
Disconnect the cleaner from the electrical outlet before checking the secondary filter. Clean or replace it as necessary to ensure proper airflow.
Motor Lubrication
The motor bearings are pre-lubricated for their lifespan. Do not add any lubricant to the motor to avoid damage.
Brush Replacement
Inspect the rug and floor nozzle brushes and replace them if worn to maintain cleaning effectiveness.
