Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Hoover Vacuum Cleaner.
Regular Inspection
Check the vacuum cleaner's belt, filter bag, and brush roll regularly. Replace the belt if it is stretched, cut, or broken. Change the filter bag when full and replace the brush roll if the brushes are worn out.
Carpet Height Adjustment
Ensure the carpet height setting is appropriate for the type of carpet being cleaned. Adjust the height control to match the carpet for optimal cleaning performance and ease of use.
Clearing Blockages
Regularly inspect and clear any blockages in the hose, brush roll cavity, or other areas to maintain cleaning effectiveness. Disconnect the cleaner from the electrical outlet before attempting to clear blockages.
Use Recommended Attachments
Always use attachments recommended by Hoover. Using non-recommended attachments may cause hazards or damage to the vacuum cleaner.
Proper Storage
Store the vacuum cleaner in an upright position when not in use. Ensure that the power cord is not twisted or damaged during storage.
