Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your LG Dryer.
Avoid Overloading
Do not overload the dryer by stuffing too many articles into the drum. Items must be able to tumble freely to ensure effective drying and prevent strain on the machine.
Clean the Filter Regularly
Ensure the area underneath and around your appliance is free of combustible materials such as lint, paper, and rags. Regularly clean the filter to maintain optimal performance.
Inspect and Clean the Drum
Regularly inspect the drum for foreign objects such as nails, bra wires, or buttons, and remove them. This helps prevent damage and maintains the machine's efficiency.
Proper Installation
Ensure correct installation by leveling the product and adjusting the drain. Improper installation can lead to operational issues.
Maintain the Inlet Hose
Turn off the water tap, unscrew the water inlet hose, and clean the filter using a hard bristle brush. Tighten the inlet hose afterwards.
