Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Regular Cleaning
Ensure that you clean the oven regularly to prevent the build-up of grease and food particles. Use a damp cloth to wipe the front of the appliance and wash the oven interior as needed. Avoid using harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers on the oven door glass to prevent scratches.
Cooling Fan Operation
After cooking, allow the oven's cooling fan to run until the internal temperature drops to 60°C or for a maximum of 25 minutes. This helps in cooling down the oven properly and prevents overheating.
Set the Clock
Ensure the clock is set when the power is first supplied to the oven. The oven cannot be operated until the clock is set, which is crucial for maintaining the correct functionality of the appliance.
Avoid Overheating
Do not line the oven bottom with aluminum foil or place baking trays on it, as this blocks heat circulation and can damage enamel surfaces. Always keep the oven door closed during cooking.
Safe Handling
Be cautious when opening the oven door during or after cooking as hot air and steam can escape rapidly. Use protective gear like gloves when handling hot dishes.
