Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Refrigerator.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the interior and exterior of the refrigerator regularly using a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the rubber door seals are clean to maintain an efficient seal.
Water Filter Maintenance
Replace the water filter as indicated by the filter indicator light. After replacing, reset the indicator by pressing the Ice Type and Child Lock buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
Temperature Settings
Ensure the refrigerator and freezer temperatures are set correctly using the digital display. The refrigerator can be set between 34°F and 46°F, and the freezer between -14°F and 8°F.
Avoid Overloading
Do not overfill the refrigerator or freezer. Overloading can obstruct air flow and affect cooling efficiency.
Ice Maker Care
Check the water supply to the ice maker to ensure it is adequate. If ice cubes are small, it may be due to low water pressure.
