Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Refrigerator.
Proper Installation
Ensure the appliance is positioned for easy access to a power source and is safely grounded. Avoid placing the refrigerator directly in sunlight or near sources of heat to prevent overheating.
Temperature Settings
Regularly check and adjust the temperature settings using the control panel. The recommended settings are 37°F for the fridge and 0°F for the freezer. Adjust these settings based on the contents and frequency of door opening.
Energy Saver Mode
Activate the Energy Saver mode to improve energy efficiency. If condensation or water drops appear on the doors, turn off the Energy Saver mode to avoid moisture buildup.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the interior and exterior of the refrigerator regularly using a soft cloth and mild detergent. Ensure the power plug is clean to prevent the risk of fire.
Door and Seal Maintenance
Check the door seals regularly to ensure they are clean and free from debris to maintain efficient cooling and to prevent air leakage.
