Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the refrigerator regularly to prevent the buildup of dirt and debris. Ensure all surfaces, including door seals, are free from residue to maintain optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Check Door Seals
Inspect the door seals for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure they are airtight to prevent cold air from escaping, which can cause the refrigerator to work harder and increase energy consumption.
Temperature Monitoring
Regularly monitor the temperature settings to ensure they are within the recommended range of -2º to +8ºC. Adjust as necessary to accommodate different types of perishable goods and to prevent spoilage.
Defrosting Cycle
Utilize the defrosting cycle properly. The heated gas defrosting system is designed to reduce power consumption and shorten defrosting time, thus maintaining the efficiency of the cold room.
Ventilation
Ensure the refrigerator is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating and to allow the refrigeration system to operate efficiently. Avoid placing it near heat sources.
