Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Cleaning the Interior
Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap to remove the typical smell of a brand-new product, then dry thoroughly.
Energy Saving Tips
Do not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than necessary. If the ambient temperature is high, adjust the Temperature Regulator to a lower setting to allow automatic defrosting, which will save electricity.
Proper Food Storage
Do not store warm food or evaporating liquids in the refrigerator. Cover or wrap food, especially if it has a strong flavor, and position food to allow free air circulation.
Defrosting the Refrigerator
Frost is automatically eliminated from the evaporator every time the motor compressor stops. Periodically clean the defrost water drain hole to prevent water overflow.
Defrosting the Freezer
This model has a 'no frost' freezer compartment, eliminating the need for manual defrosting.
